OMÜ-YÖS Türkiye'de üniversite öğrenimi görmek isteyen uluslararası öğrencilerin başvurularında kabul edilen sınavlardan biri. Türkiye'de bulunan birçok üniversite OMÜ-YÖS'ü uluslararası öğrenci kabulünde kullanıyor.

In cooperation with Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) International Relations Unit and Distance Education Center, Ondokuz Mayıs University Entrance Examination for International Students (OMU-YOS) was successfully held in 33 centers, 26 being abroad, and in 19 countries.

There were 7,646 applications for the exam held in 6 languages ​​(Turkish, English, Russian, Arabic, French and Persian). The exam started at 13.00 Turkish time on Saturday, May 22, 2021 and ended at 15.00.

OMU-YOS, which was held in only 7 domestic centers due to the pandemic last year, was successfully carried out in 33 centers both in Turkey and abroad with a strong organization this year despite the pandemic. With the contribution and cooperation of Maarif Schools, Ondokuz Mayıs University was able to include in the YOS exam many centers with potential that could not be visited in previous periods. The exam was held for the first time at the centers of Jalalabad, Kandahar and Sheberghanin Afghanistan, Encemine in Chad, Douala in Cameroon, Libreville in Gabon, Bamako in Mali, Nuakchott in Mauritania, Hergeisa in Somalia, and Zanzibar in Tanzania.

OMU-YOS is one of the exams accepted for the applications of international students who want to study in Turkey. Many universities in Turkey use OMU-YOS to accept international students.
