A cooperation protocol was signed between the Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Faculty of Communication and the Central Black Sea Development Agency (OKA). The protocol was signed by OMU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Aydın and OKA Secretary General Mehlika Dicle.

Field Experience Opportunities for Students

Under the protocol, OMU Faculty of Communication students will produce photographs, videos, short films, and podcasts to promote OKA’s activities in the region. Students will gain field experience through technical trips, project visits, and production programs.

Visual Content Production and Promotional Activities

The collaboration will focus on creating visual content (photographs, videos, short films, podcasts, etc.) to promote OKA’s projects and activities in the TR83 Region (Amasya, Çorum, Samsun, Tokat).

Communication Infrastructure and Technical Support

OMU will provide access to its studio, radio, and greenbox infrastructure as part of the partnership, while OKA will offer technical equipment support and oversee organizational processes.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, OMU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Aydın emphasized the importance of the collaboration:

Prof. Dr. Aydın also highlighted the contributions of the initiative to the region:

Recognition of Student Contributions

OMU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Aydın and OKA Secretary General Mehlika Dicle presented certificates of appreciation to OMU Faculty of Communication students for their contributions during the protocol ceremony.
