OMU Undergraduate Students Have Successfully Completed Project Development Training

500 OMU undergraduate students who qualified to obtain certification within the scope of the “Scientific Research Projects Program Coded 1907, Training to Develop University Students’ Project Writing Skills and Improve Their Awareness Project” have received their certificates in a ceremony which took place at the OMU Atatürk Congress and Culture Center.

Rector Prof. Dr. Yavuz Ünal, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Fehmi Yazıcı and Prof. Dr. Cengiz Batuk, academicians, and students have joined the ceremony.

Project Coordinator Faculty Member Bekir Özüdoğru, and Prof. Dr. Alper Çiftci,  Prof. Dr. Eyüp Selim Köksal, Prof. Dr. Güner Tural, Prof. Dr. Güray Erener, Prof. Dr. Süleyman Yaman, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Gürbüz, Instructor Eda Beylihan, Dr. Belgin Bal İncebacak, Research Assistant Aslı Sarışan Tungaç, Rector Advisor Ekrem Altan who have contributed to the project also shared the excitement of the students.

 

1500 innovative and entrepreneur OMU undergraduate students participated in the project

1500 innovative and entrepreneur OMU undergraduate students have applied to the “Scientific Research Projects Program Coded 1907, Training to Develop University Students’ Project Writing Skills and Improve Their Awareness Project” which aims to attract more undergraduate students into the R&D environment of OMU. Out of the 700 students who have attended the training sessions, 500 of them have been granted a certificate.

48 project applications from the students

500 undergraduate students who have received a certificate have received 16 hours of theoretical and practical training at OMU Continuing Education Center. 48 project applications to the “Choose Your Project and Act” initiative conducted within the scope of the 2021-I Coded Student Projects Support Program were made after the training. These projects will receive grants up to 5000 TL.
