OMU's Guidance and Psychological Counseling Ph.D. Thesis Receives TÜBİTAK's Rapid Support

Zeynep Öznur Yazan, a research assistant and PhD student in the Department of Educational Sciences, Guidance and Psychological Counseling at Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU), has been recognized by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) for her doctoral thesis. Her project, "Do I Have a Satisfying Job? A Mixed Methods Study Based on the Theory of Strengths-Based Inclusive Work," is now part of TÜBİTAK’s 1002-A Rapid Support Program for a period of 12 months.

This innovative project, supervised by Prof. Dr. Ayşenur Büyükgöze Kavas from the Faculty of Education, aims to examine the experiences of individuals satisfied with their jobs from a positive psychology perspective. The project aims to develop a comprehensive understanding of these individuals' well-being in the workplace and create a new measurement tool.

In addition to Yazan’s project, the Guidance and Psychological Counseling department is also engaged in several other significant projects led by Prof. Dr. Ayşenur Büyükgöze Kavas, with Zeynep Öznur Yazan and Furkan Kirazcı as researchers. These projects include:
