As part of the 'student exchange agreement' between Azerbaijan Medical University and Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU), Nursing Department students from Azerbaijan completed their internships at the Health Application and Research Center (SUVAM) in Samsun.

The Nursing Department students from Azerbaijan, under the guidance of faculty members from OMU's Faculty of Health Sciences Nursing Department, engaged in a one-month clinical practice with the objective of observation in various internal units of SUVAM.

These students mentioned that they had not previously participated in clinical practice in their home country and found this exchange program and clinical practice highly beneficial. They expressed their deep fondness for Türkiye and a desire to return in the future.

At the conclusion of the clinical practice, a certificate ceremony was organized for the Nursing Department students from Azerbaijan, attended by OMU's Nursing Department Chair, Prof. Dr. İlknur Aydın Avci, and faculty members. During the ceremony, the students were awarded the "Participation Certificate in Clinical Practice" by Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Terzi.
