Speaking at the opening of the graduation ceremony after the moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem, the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Ali Seylan, said, "Our Faculty, which adopts universal and ethical values, is sensitive to the problems of the world and its country, can continuously improve itself by realizing its potential, can produce solutions in the combination of science and art, and is committed to educating innovative, creative artists and designers, is graduating its sixth term graduates this year. We share this pride with our students and their families. Founded in 2012 and started its education life in the 2013-2014 academic year, our Faculty has reached a structure that provides education to a total of 600 students at the undergraduate level in 6 departments, a total of 48 graduate students in our four main art branches, one of which is at the level of proficiency in art, with a total of 33 academic staff, 14 of whom are faculty members. As the OMU family, we are always with you. I wish you all success in your professional life."

"Every ending begets a beginning"

Nesrin Öztürk, the valedictorian of the Faculty of Fine Arts, said, "We left behind our four-year education life with its good and bad memories. Sometimes we stayed up all night in front of the canvas, sometimes, we worked until the night in the workshops, and sometimes we had times when we were away from our workshops. We are grateful for the efforts and efforts of our esteemed teachers who supported us during these periods. Today, we are only ending our undergraduate education here, but I know that learning is an endless sea. I have never hesitated and will never hesitate to drown in this sea. Every ending begets a beginning. This ending will be a beginning for me and my fellow graduates. On behalf of all my fellow students with whom I share this pride, I would like to thank the OMU family, especially our professors."

After the speeches, the protocol members presented gifts and certificates of achievement to the ranking students.

At the end of the ceremony, the students threw their caps into the air and enjoyed their special day.
