Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Samsun Vocational School (VS) celebrated the graduation of 600 students who successfully completed the 2023-2024 academic year.

The graduation ceremony, held at Mustafa Dağıstanlı Indoor Sports Hall, was attended by VS Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Akay, faculty members, graduates, and their families.

"The Time Has Come to Send Your Dear Children into Life's Struggles"

Speaking at the ceremony, VS Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Akay said, "From their birth, you have nurtured your dear children with great care and sacrifice. Now, it's time to send them into life's struggles. You have made countless sacrifices for your children without expecting anything in return. Today, as the reward for those sacrifices, you will see your children succeed in their careers and feel proud of them. Lastly, you will now make the sacrifices your parents have made for you for this nation and country."

VS valedictorian and Child Development Program student Gülsüm Gündüz also expressed her gratitude on behalf of herself and her fellow graduates, thanking their professors and families for their contributions.

After presenting gifts and achievement certificates to the top graduates, the ceremony concluded with the traditional tossing of caps into the air.
