As part of the ongoing fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the Senate and the Board Meeting, which is Ondokuz Mayıs University’s (OMU) senior management body and usually held weekly, was held simultaneously with the technical support and telecommunications access technologies of OMU UZEM (Distant Education Centre).

Faculty deans, directors of vocational schools, and all the other members of the senate attended the online Senate Meeting moderated by OMU Rector Prof. Dr. Sait Bilgiç.

The decisions that have been taken so far and the decisions that must be taken as part of the fight against the pandemic, how to carry on with the education activities, and the other agenda items were discussed and resolved at the meeting.
