Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Aydın met with students at TEKNOFEST 2024 in Adana. Rector Aydın visited OMU's and other participating institutions' booths, examining student projects and sharing their excitement.

At TEKNOFEST 2024 Adana, Rector Aydın was accompanied by Samsun Teknopark General Manager Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Gürbüz, Deputy Secretary-General Serap Sivrioğlu Sezer, as well as academic and administrative staff.

During the festival held at Adana Airport, Rector Aydın met with Samsun University Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmut Aydın, Karadeniz Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah Çuvalcı, and Gebze Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Hacı Ali Mantar.

Later, Rector Aydın congratulated the OMU team, consisting of students Ahmet Anıl Sarıgüzel, Hicran Temel, and Ayşegül Topçu, under the supervision of Instructor Mustafa Kaya, for winning first place in the "Natural Language Processing Scenario" category of the TEKNOFEST Turkish Natural Language Processing Competition.

Additionally, Rector Aydın examined the presentations of vehicles participating in the competition from OMU-TAR, Esinti Aviation UAV, Helimore UAV, and OMU-KAR teams, receiving detailed information about the students' projects.
