TEKNOFEST 2024, Türkiye’s aerospace, space, and technology festival, kicked off today in Adana. Organized by the Türkiye Technology Team Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, with the participation of 128 institutions, the festival is being held at Adana Airport and will conclude on October 6.
Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) has also set up a stand at TEKNOFEST Adana, attracting significant interest from technology enthusiasts. On the festival’s opening day, the stand was visited by representatives from both private and public institutions, where staff provided information about the university’s activities to young participants.
At the OMU stand, which has garnered intense interest from attendees, Samsun Teknopark General Manager Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Gürbüz, Deputy Secretary-General Serap Sivrioğlu Sezer, academic and administrative staff, and students were present.
This year, OMU succeeded in becoming a finalist in various competition categories, preparing its students for the future in technology. The stand at TEKNOFEST Adana showcases technological tools developed by students in the fields of technology and innovation.
TEKNOFEST features a broad range of participants, including public institutions, tech giants, universities, and media outlets. The festival offers a rich program of events for all ages, from advanced technology simulations to scientific workshops and exhibitions. Participants have the opportunity to both enjoy themselves and engage with technology through these activities.
