“Open Door Day” visits, which were put into practice by the Rector of Ondokuz Mayıs University Prof. Dr. Sait Bilgiç as a reflection of the participative administration mentality, are continued with broad participation to serve its purpose.

Rector Bilgiç stated that he firmly believes that brainstorming through the “Open Door Day” practice, which is attended by all university members, will make an important contribution to OMU’s institutional identity; and that they are determined to make this practice an established and permanent one.

Prof. Bilgiç told that sharing requests, opinions, suggestions, and expression of goodwill provide an opportunity to learn and consult the ideas of university members, and said that this continued interaction with the staff and the students is also a manifestation of transparency.

The visits, which are open to everyone, are organized every Tuesday, between 16:00 – 18:00.
