Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) has added new achievements to its successful patent registrations with four patented works certified by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (Turkish Patent), ranking fourth according to National Patent Registration data.

Firstly, the study titled 'Method for Obtaining α-ALUMINA (α-Al2O3) from Waste Aluminum Tin Cans and α-ALUMINA (α-Al2O3) Obtained by This Method' developed by OMU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Sevim Alışır and Kübra Ökmen succeeded in obtaining a patent.

The second patent, titled 'Capsulized Liquid Impregnated Pellet Fuel,' was granted to Technopark General Manager Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Gürbüz and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bilal Sungur.

The third patent registration was for the work 'Ignition and Trigger Mechanism for Firearms,' prepared by Research Assistant Dr. Erkan Öztürk and Semih Kaygusuz.

Lastly, a patent decision was made for the 'Cooking Container for Foods,' a creation by Technopark General Manager Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Gürbüz and Dr. Lecturer Cengiz Görkem Dengiz.
