OMU Was at the Turkish Universities Promotion Fair in Morocco

The delegation, which included members from the Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) International Relations Office and Distance Education Center (UZEM), participated in the university promotion fair held in Casablanca and Marrakech in Morocco.

OMU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Cengiz Batuk and Dr. Murat Yıldız participated in the fair.

Türkiye's Ambassador to Morocco visited OMU's stand

Ömer Faruk Doğan, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Morocco at Rabat, also visited the OMU stand set up at the university promotion days fair in Casablanca. During the visit, Ambassador Doğan was informed about the International Student Entrance Examination (YÖS) and was presented with gifts from OMU's products.

"It is necessary to establish strong cultural, political, and commercial ties by carrying out YÖS and selecting qualified students."

Ambassador Ömer Faruk Doğan, wishing success to OMU, emphasized that Moroccan students show great interest in Turkish universities and, therefore, it is vital to hold the exams in Morocco, and said the following; "We need to select qualified students and establish strong cultural, political and commercial ties." Regarding the project jointly carried out by OMU Faculty of Agriculture and Morocco, Ambassador Doğan underlined that the number of these projects should increase.

OMU was introduced to Moroccan students

During the fair, OMU officials shared details about YÖS, which is a student selection examination international students who want to study in higher education institutions in Türkiye should take. The fair attracted great interest, and the OMU team gave information about OMU's faculties and programs.

The fair, attended by more than 20 universities, ended on February 19th. Making evaluations after the fair, OMÜ established the necessary preparations and connections to hold a YÖS exam in Morocco.
