Collaboration Meeting with Bangladesh North South University

An online introduction meeting was held between North South University, one of the leading universities in Bangladesh, and Ondokuz Mayıs University. Within the framework of the meeting, opportunities for cooperation between departments were discussed.

The meeting was moderated by Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Said Kurşunoğlu and Dr. Katherine Li. Birol Kurt and Tolga Arslan from the International Relations Office shared their presentations introducing our university during the meeting. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Özaydın from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and Prof. Dr. Erdal Kılıç and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sedat Akleylek from the Faculty of Engineering Department of Computer Engineering gave information about their departments and bilateral cooperation opportunities. From North South University, Dean Prof. Dr. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Prof. Gour Gobinda Goswami, Dr. Sakib Bin Amin, Dr. Asad Karim Khan Priyo from the Faculty of Business and Economics; Dr. Rezaul Bari from the Faculty of Engineering Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering; Dr. Hasan Uz Zaman and Dr. M. Shazzad Hosain from the Department of Computer Engineering; Prof. Dr. Nazmun Nahar from the Faculty of Environmental Sciences; Dr. Mamun Molla from the Department of Mathematics and Physics; and Samina Miti from the International Relations Office and OMU Bangladeshi MSc student Safayat Hossain attended the meeting.

A series of meetings are planned to be held both at the university and departmental levels to strengthen the cooperation between the two institutions.
