"Challenges Did Not Discourage Us, and the Beauty of This Profession Made Us More Attached to It"
Banu Bozoğlu, who graduated as the top student in the Department of Chemistry, said, “Diplomas are only for gaining a profession. Gaining the awareness of the profession and understanding its importance requires belonging and responsibility. I extend my endless thanks to all my teachers who instilled this awareness in us, emphasized the importance of our profession, and guided us to become generations that develop themselves. We experienced not only theoretical knowledge but also the challenges and beauties of this profession through laboratory practices. Challenges did not discourage us, and the beauty of this profession made us more attached to it. Now, a generation that integrates technology into professional processes, is open to innovations, and is proficient in contemporary methods and techniques is coming. We are ready to start our duties nationwide with the pieces we have learned from our teachers. We are eager to perform our valuable professions in their respective fields.”
Following the speeches, the protocol members presented gifts and achievement certificates to the top students. At the end of the graduation ceremony, the students celebrated their graduation by tossing their caps into the air.
