Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) officials visited universities in Portugal to strengthen the Erasmus program and bilateral cooperation. Meetings in Lisbon and Castelo Branco focused on student exchange and new collaborations.

Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Ayşe Pınar Sumer, Head of the International Relations Office Prof. Dr. Mustafa Said Kurşunoğlu, and Erasmus Institutional Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tütüncü visited Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, Politécnico de Castelo Branco, and Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon, engaging in discussions on expanding Erasmus cooperation and bilateral agreements between institutions.

The delegation met with Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ana Teresa Vaz Ferreira, International Relations Coordinators Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alejandra Ortiz and Roberto Monteiro, and Erasmus Coordinators Prof. Dr. Luís Pinto de Andrade, Prof. Dr. Helena Belchior-Rocha, and Cristina Marques. The parties agreed to enhance participation in Erasmus student exchange and Erasmus Blended Intensive Programs (BIP) while expanding agreements across different fields.
