Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Çarşamba Commodity Exchange Vocational School held a graduation ceremony for 350 students.
In his speech at the ceremony held at Çarşamba Lake Restaurant, the Director of the Vocational School, Prof. Dr. İsmail Aydemir, noted that the school began its educational journey in the 2002-2003 academic year with 240 students. Today, the school has grown to approximately 1,700 students across six programs.
Prof. Dr. Aydemir emphasized the importance of trained intermediate human resources for the country's development, saying, "You have completed all your courses and earned your diplomas. Your future achievements will be a source of pride for us. I wish you all success in your future endeavors."
Following a speech by the school's top student, Emin Çetinkaya, awards, and certificates of achievement were presented to successful students, and diplomas were handed out to all graduates. The ceremony concluded with the 350 graduates joyfully tossing their caps into the air.
The event was attended by Çarşamba District Governor Şükrü Yıldırım, Mayor Hüseyin Dündar, faculty members, and students.
