Artificial Intelligence Training for Science Teachers

Supported by TÜBİTAK ( Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) Science and Society Department within the scope of 4005 - Innovative Educational Applications Support Program, "Science Teachers Are Learning Artificial Intelligence Applications" training has ended.

Twenty-four science teachers working in different cities of Turkey participated in the project, which was held at Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) between 15-19 August 2022 and was led by OMU Education Faculty Science Education Department faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ergun.

In the training given by nine trainers for five days, artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning and technologies and developments in these fields were transferred to the teachers in practice.

The aim of the project training given by computer engineers and experts in the fields of information technologies and science education was to increase the knowledge, skills and awareness of science teachers about artificial intelligence technologies and the use of these technologies in education.

We congratulate the science teachers who completed the project training within the scope of TÜBİTAK-4005 and the project coordinator Dr Ergun and his team and wish them continued success.
