SEN-1919 Team, made up of members Mehmet Furkan Topkara, 4th-year student of the Department of Chemical Engineering, and academic supervisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selim Ceyhan, came in third in the “Environment and Energy Technologies” category at TEKNOFEST 2020 with the mobile solar energy system called “GÜNHANE”.

Informing about the award won at TEKNOFEST 2020, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selim Ceyhan stated that within the scope of the project, a mobile system has been designed for the storage of solar energy in the form of salt and a cost-efficient, environment-friendly prototype with sustainable working principles has been developed.
