The “University Monitoring and Assessment Report 2019” which contains a general assessment of universities in line with the data of 172 Turkish universities for 2019 according to five main indicators and 45 sub-indicators was announced by The Council of Higher Education (CoHE). According to the report, OMU was ranked among the most successful universities.

The indicators used in the evaluation of universities were grouped under the main headings of education and training, research and development, project and publication, internationalization, budget and finance, and community service and accountability to the community. While OMU was ranked 4th both in the category of “education and training” and “the number of students participating in Teknokent or TTO Projects”, it was also ranked 5th in the heading of “Internationalization” in terms of the number of exchange students. In the report which only the names of universities in the top five are presented comparatively, when the data of each university are analyzed, it seems that OMU is at the top in terms of many indicators (Reference: https://tinyurl.com/yokrapor2018)
