Teknofest, the world's largest Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, of which Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) is a stakeholder, opened its doors to visitors in Samsun.

Rector Yavuz Ünal visited the stands of ASELSAN, which was established to meet the military communication needs of the Turkish Armed Forces, and ULAK Communications Inc., which is Turkey's communication power, at the festival area located in Samsun Çarşamba Airport.

Rector Ünal was briefed at the stands by Mehmet Çelik, Deputy General Manager of Technology and Strategy Management of ASELSAN, and Celal Sami Tüfekçi, Vice President of Defense Industries.

Rector Ünal was accompanied by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Cengiz Batuk, Prof. Dr. Sevim Alışır and Teknopark General Manager Ekrem Altan.

The festival will continue until September 4 with many events, especially technology competitions.
