Training programmes entitled “Job Seeking Skills” have been organized for the final year and alumni students of OMU in the 18-22 February, 04-08 March, 18-22 March, 01-05 April, 22-26 April, 13-17 May, 17-21 June 2019 periods of the 2018 – 2019 Academic Year by Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Career Center with the cooperation of Samsun Labour and Employment Agency Directorate Job Club.
271 students and alumni have been trained on CV preparation, interview techniques, correct use of body language, and key points of effective phone conversations through the programme. In addition, improving the job seeking and interview skills through video and interactive applications and developing job seeking strategies based upon the experiences of job seekers was also achieved.
Director of OMU Career Centre and the Coordinator of OMU Alumni Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nursel Topkaya has said that training programmes will continue in the future and that they will continue to support student and alumni career development.
At the end of the training, Turkish Employment Organization Consultant Çiğdem Çakır was awarded with a certificate of appreciation for her contributions.
