Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Aydın welcomed students from the Yaşar Doğu Faculty of Sport Sciences who achieved high rankings in the Universities Türkiye Taekwondo Championship and the UNILIG Bowling Türkiye Championship.
The meeting at the Rectorate Office was attended by the Dean of the Yaşar Doğu Faculty of Sport Sciences, Prof. Dr. Murat Eliöz, along with faculty management, academic staff, and coaches.
Speaking during the meeting, Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Aydın stated, “As Ondokuz Mayıs University, we are extremely pleased with our students’ strong performance in sports, in addition to their academic achievements. Our students, who have made us proud with their outstanding performances in inter-university championships, have successfully represented our university on a national level. I sincerely congratulate all our athletes, their coaches, and the academic staff who supported them for their hard work and achievements.”
The visit concluded with a commemorative group photo of all participants.
