Turkish National Agency Provides 350 Thousand Euros Support for Two Different Erasmus+ Projects of OMU

Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) was entitled to receive 350 thousand euros support for KA202 and KA204 Partnership Projects which were approved by the Turkish National Agency.

Republic of Turkey Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Presidency of the European Union-Turkish National Agency has approved a budget of 148 thousand 952 euros for the project called “Improving Agricultural Water Use Efficiency by Using Satellite and Un-Manned Air Vehicle Systems” within the scope of Erasmus+ Vocational Education Strategic Partnerships Projects. It has also provided 202 thousand 639 euros for the project “Development of a Model for Strengthening Competences of Disadvantaged Women Through Basic Education” within the scope of Strategic Partnership Projects for Adult Education.

Approximately 203 Thousand Euros Support for the Project of Strengthening Competences of Disadvantaged Women

The Project called “Development of a Model for Strengthening Competences of Disadvantaged Women Through Basic Education” which was prepared by the Directorate of Health, Culture & Sports and its partners within the scope of Strategic Partnership Projects for Adult Education has been approved by the Presidency of the European Union-Turkish National Agency and it was granted 202 thousand 639 euros.

The Project will be carried out in partnership with Bupnet Bildung Und Projekt Netzwerkgmbh (Germany), Asociacion Caminos - Asociacion Para El Intercambio Educacion Y Desarrollo Social (Spain), Compass-Beratung, Begleitung Training Gemeinnützige Gmbh (Austria), Oaza Sigurnosti (Serbia) and Samsun Canik Public Education Center.

What is Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership Projects for Adult Education (KA204)?

Strategic Partnerships are international projects which support the development, transfer, and implementation of innovative practices and joint initiatives that promote cooperation, mutual learning, and exchange of experience at European level.

The overall aims of the projects are to strengthen the European dimension of teaching and learning process, promote some values such as diversity, tolerance, and people’s participation in democratic life, learn about European cultural heritage, improve the quality of adult education and mobility projects, encourage the participation of adults from all ages and socio-economic backgrounds.
