Speaking at the program, Samsun Governor Dağlı said, "250 thousand of our students in Samsun received their report cards today. I congratulate all our students for their success. However, we are proud to accompany our special students to receive their report cards at our report ceremony here. Our students with leukemia, who are treated at the Children's Hospital of the Faculty of Medicine, also receive their education here. We have more than 300 students in Samsun, whom we provide education at home in this way. Our teachers give their education by going to the students' homes on certain days of the week. Of course, our aim here is to ensure that none of our students are deprived of education."

Rector Ünal "Our hospital also carries out beneficial works for the future of our children."

Rector Ünal also pointed out the importance of the morale and motivation of the children receiving treatment and said, "We pay attention to keep the morale of our children under treatment high in combating the disease. This is a source of hope for them, and we are aware of this responsibility. Our hospital serves not only Samsun but also patients from the surrounding provinces. In this respect, our hospital, which is at the service of the region and our country, also carries out beneficial work for our children's future. I would like to thank all our employees who ensure that our children do not fall behind in their education with this important work. We will continue to participate in projects and studies serving children."

Hospital Class teacher Er "We helped 46 students who could not go to school to pass their classes."

OMU Hospital Class teacher Necati Er drew attention to the fact that the class in which he works was a first in Turkey and said, "The Hospital Class, which was created in cooperation with OMU and the Provincial Directorate of National Education, to keep primary, secondary and high school students from falling behind in their classes, was the first of the 2022-2023 academic year. We are happy to give the children their report cards at the end of half of the year. We ensured that a total of 46 students, 15 in primary school, 17 in secondary school, and 14 in high school, who could not go to school due to their treatment, passed their classes. We are also Turkey's first public high school hospital class. After us, Istanbul has achieved this."

At the report card ceremony, Governor Dağlı cut the celebration cake with the children, who were happy with their report cards.

The program ended with the children receiving their report cards and gifts.
