Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Rector Prof. Dr. Yavuz Ünal met with Indonesian Deputy Minister of Economy Dr. Ir. Wahyu Utomo and the accompanying delegation, who came to Turkey to make various contacts, in Istanbul.

The meeting was hosted by Indonesian Honorary Consul Dr. Eren Günhan Ulusoy. Indonesian Istanbul Consul General Imam As'ari and Commercial Counselor Jepri Edi and Assistant Kartika Listriana also took part in the delegation.

During the meeting, OMU's halal food studies were discussed in the context of international standards and market relations in halal food certification.
