Rector of OMU Prof. Dr. Yavuz Ünal attended the "Provincial Pandemic Response Committee Meeting" chaired by Governor of Samsun Zülkif Dağlı to discuss the measures to be taken to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19).

Deputy Governor İbrahim Avcı, Rector of Samsun University Prof. Dr. Mahmut Aydın, Provincial Police Chief of Samsun Dr. Ömer Urhal and other board members participated in the meeting held in the governorship.

At the “Provincial Pandemic Response Committee Meeting”, the measures to be taken against coronavirus in primary schools, secondary schools, and in the higher education establishments and in the student dormitories throughout Samsun in the 2020-2021 academic year were also discussed.
