Prof. Dr. Selim Ceylan, a faculty member in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Engineering Faculty of Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU), has been appointed as a working group member for the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) program's action "CA20127: Waste Biorefinery Technologies for Accelerating Sustainable Energy Processes."

The primary goal of the CA20127 action is to develop processes for sustainable energy production from waste. This initiative will bring together scientists from various countries to form a consortium. The CA20127 action aims to increase scientific awareness about the value of biomass and other wastes, encouraging collaborative work and supporting related projects in this field.
