President of Samsunspor Football Club Erkurt Tutu and its board members have visited Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Rector Prof. Dr. Sait Bilgiç. Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Menderes Kabadayı has also attended the meeting.
President Tutu and the board members that joined him in his visit have congratulated Rector Bilgiç and his team for winning the elections and wished them success in their works. President Tutu also updated the Rector and the Secretary General on the recent developments happening at the Club and shared his ideas and assessments with them.
Rector Bilgiç devoted close attention to President Tutu and his board members, and announced that OMU is ready to give support to Samsunspor FC to the full extent and that they want to keep the cooperation and contact alive through varied works. In this context, 2500 tickets of Samsunspor Raffle were purchased on behalf of OMU. Rector Bilgiç underlined the fact that the whole city of Samsun should support Samsunspor through such events so that the Club will regain its due standing.
Rector Bilgiç also told that Samsunspor is a big and established club and expressed that both OMU and the people of Samsun want to see this distinguished and well-established club at the Super League.
President Tutu has gifted Rector Bilgiç a Samsunspor jersey with his name and the number 55 on the back.
