Following the group stage of the Rugby University League (Unileague) held in Antalya, Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Men’s and Women’s Rugby Teams have qualified for the Unileague Finals.

OMU Men’s Team has finished the stage as the top team by winning all of the 5 games they have played. OMU Women’s Team has won 3 of the 4 games they have played and finished their group second. Thus, both teams have qualified for the Final Stage of the Rugby University League.

Team Coach Erkan Göral expressed his feelings with the following words; “First of all we would like to thank our Rector Prof. Dr. Sait Bilgiç for always being there for us and always supporting us. We are becoming a stronger team with each passing year by building up on our previous year’s performance. I also would like to thank my players for their performances in the tournament.”
