OMU Industrial Design Students Shine in International and National Competitions

Students from the Industrial Design Department of Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Faculty of Fine Arts have achieved significant success by ranking in national and international design competitions.

"Three of Our Students Were Among 25 Finalists"

In the International Procarton Packaging Design Competition, three students from the Industrial Design Department made it to the finals among approximately 800 cardboard packaging designs from across Europe, securing a place among 25 finalists. Enes Biçer won the national first prize in the "All Other Winner" category. Berre Fermancı secured the national first prize in the "Sustainability" category, and Sıla Tüylüoğlu was awarded an honorable mention.

In the 15th National Furniture Design Competition organized by the coordination of the Ministry of Trade, in collaboration with the Turkish Exporters Assembly and the Central Anatolian Furniture, Paper, and Forest Products Exporters' Association, Industrial Design Department students Emre Kocaer and Farid Saeidimanesh were awarded the gold prize for their project "Playnest."
