Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Health Services Vocational School (VS) celebrated the graduation of 864 successful students for the 2023-2024 academic year.

The graduation ceremony, held at the OMU Life Center, was attended by Health Services VS Director Dr. Faruk Tan, Indonesian Honorary Consul Dr. Eren Günhan Ulusoy, Deputy Directors of the School Lecturer Hayrettin Katipoğlu and Lecturer Ramazan Bayram Karakaya, academicians, graduating students, and their families.

"Complaints Drive Away Courage"

The ceremony began with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem. Dr. Faruk Tan, Director of Health Services VS, said in his speech, "Dear students, today marks my last academic meeting with you. Aim high for your goals. If you set your dreams high, you can become Dietitians, Radiologists, or even Doctors. You may not realize it, but we have been observing you for two years. Among you are many intelligent, hardworking, and successful individuals with high aspirations. Always remember that where there is a complaint, courage flees. Never complain. Keep your motivation high."

"We Must Always Move Forward"

Representing the students, VS valedictorian Hatice Ateş from the Audiometry Department stated, "Today, we are celebrating our achievements and accepting our responsibilities as future representatives. We are concluding this journey today. However, this does not mean our student life is over. If we are to build our future, we must not remain stagnant. We must always move forward."

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of gifts and achievement certificates to the graduates who finished with honors. The graduation ceremony ended with students joyfully tossing their caps into the air.
