Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is accredited by Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Educational Institutions and Programs of Veterinary Medicine (VEDEK).

OMU Faculty of Veterinary Medicine become entitled to receive the title of  “Accredited Faculty” for a period of 2 years in consequence of the auditing conducted by VEDEK, the exclusive institution in Turkey authorized by the Council of Higher Education to accredit veterinary medicine education institutions, on 13-17 November 2017.

OMU Faculty of Veterinary Medicine will be identified as “Accredited Faculty” in the Student Selection and Placement Centre guidebooks and application documents for a period of two years, and this will be an important reason for preference for candidate students.
