A cooperation protocol was signed between Samsun Technology Development Zone Inc. (Samsun Teknopark) and Gazi Teknopark Inc.

OMU Rector Prof. Dr. Yavuz Ünal and Gazi University Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız signed the protocol covering the establishment of university/industry collaborations with companies belonging to the two companies, Samsun Technopark and Gazi Technopark, organizing joint activities and activities related to projects in fields such as entrepreneurship, R&D, innovation and social development.

Rector Ünal, who made evaluations at the protocol signing ceremony held at Gazi University Rectorate Senate Hall, said, "The experience of each university, the cooperation with our structuring reflected and embodied in Technopark, and the opportunity of joining forces with Gazi Technopark excites us. We are thinking of uniting with serious work and projects. I would like to thank all our teammates, and especially Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız."

Rector Yıldız, in his speech at the protocol signing ceremony, said, "I hope that the protocol signed between Gazi Technopark Inc. and Samsun Technopark Inc. will be beneficial for both universities and our country."

After the speeches, Gazi University Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız presented the certificate of sapling planted in the name of Ondokuz Mayıs University Rector Prof. Dr. Yavuz Ünal within the scope of Gazi University's forestation efforts.

The ceremony ended with a collective commemorative photograph.
