General Manager of BMC POWER Motor and Control Technologies Inc. Osman DUR, who came to Samsun as part of the university-industry cooperation models, visited Rector’s Office.

Mr. Dur had a meeting with Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Cengiz at the Rector’s Office. Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kuran, Head of University Project Management Office Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hilmi Çon, General Manager of Samsun Teknopark Buğra Çolak and Assistant General Manager Osman Özkoç, and OMU-TTO Coordinator Dr. Mustafa Mortaş also attended the meeting.

Osman Dur, General Manager of BMC which produces commercial and defense industry vehicles with domestic national technology, shared their operations as part of the search and works for university-industry cooperation and expressed that they want to create a common ground for similar cooperation with different universities.

Deputy Rector Cengiz thanked Mr. Dur for the courtesy he has shown and underlined the fact that the University is always open for cooperation with its technical and technological infrastructure.

Following the visit, General Manager Dur made a presentation on the works carried out to further advance Turkey in technology and innovation during a meeting which was conducted in the Rectorial Senate Hall with the participation of Deputy Rector Cengiz, Vice Rector Kuran, academicians, and representatives of Samsun Teknopark.
