TEKNOFEST, the spectacular stage of the National Technology Initiative of Türkiye, is now getting ready to welcome technology enthusiasts in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). Organized by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology, and hosted by the TRNC Presidency, TEKNOFEST TRNC will take place from May 1–4 at the Former Ercan Airport in Lefkoşa, bringing together young people in the shared excitement of science and technology. The festival will bring together thousands of visitors who are passionate about technology through exciting shows and inspiring competitions.
Over 15,000 teams and 47,000 participants have applied to TEKNOFEST TRNC 2025, all aiming to make their dreams come true. With technology competitions in 7 main categories and 14 subcategories, the festival will showcase innovative ideas and bring together students, entrepreneurs, and tech enthusiasts shaping the future of science and technology.
Taking place in the TRNC, a Mediterranean treasure known for its natural beauty, vibrant tourism, and rich cultural history, TEKNOFEST will offer unforgettable moments from May 1–4. The festival will be packed with dynamic events including an aircraft exhibition, a planetarium journey among the stars, the TRNC Digital Experience Zone, a thrilling pedal- powered flight activity, and spectacular stage performances. Students will have the chance to experience their "First Flight," and concerts will create a festive atmosphere, offering a unique event for all technology enthusiasts.
The skies over TRNC will dazzle with impressive air shows from Türkiye’s aviation and defense sectors. SOLOTÜRK and the Turkish Stars will deliver breathtaking performances, while F-4 fighter jets will push the limits of power and speed. The ATAK helicopters will impress with agility and dynamism, and Hürkuş will stand out with its original design. Among the festival’s highlights, Anka 3 will offer a glimpse into the future with its cutting-edge technology, and Bayraktar TB2 and TB3 will amaze audiences with their superior surveillance capabilities.
