Rector Ünal, "We focus on planned and systematic development"

Rector Ünal, who conveyed his ideas and observations about the works carried out at the meeting, emphasized that they focused on the planned and systematic development of the Bafra Campus and said:

"With the mission it has undertaken and the vision it has produced, our university has focused on the planned development of the campuses where educational activities are carried out within the scope of revision works in education. In the works carried out, the needs of the developing world and, in turn, our country were evaluated from the macro to the micro scale, and the current situation and development dynamics of the campuses were revealed. We are trying to provide the initial development in this direction within the framework of the sustainability principle of the identified and emerging needs. Ultimately, we aim for a sustainable campus life with areas compatible with scientific studies."

A campus model where the main concept of agriculture is prioritized

In his speech, Rector Ünal stated that they consider Bafra's agricultural and tourism potential and continued, "The consequences of changing climate conditions in the world, and the ever-increasing human needs and technological progress increase the world's need for science and higher education. In this context, we have adopted the idea that Bafra district can develop with its current potential on a micro scale, with a campus model in which the main concept of agriculture is prioritized within this equation."

Land allocation from Samsun Metropolitan Municipality

The campus's main entrance in the Bafra Vision Plan was planned on the immovables allocated with the land support given by the Samsun Metropolitan Municipality.

Main entrance planning consists of a main gate layout and landscaping, which is thought to be designed in line with local architecture, as well as social reinforcement structures that will bring the University together with the people living in the city.
