In Samsun, thousands of citizens marched up to the Republic Square for the martyrs on the occasion of "15th July - The Democracy and National Unity Day".
Various programs were carried out in Samsun on the 3rd anniversary of the July 15 treacherous coup attempt.
Governor Osman Kaymak, members of the protocol and thousands of citizens participated in the march held within the scope of the programs carried out under the coordination of the Governorate of Samsun.
During the march that started on İstiklal Street, thousands of citizens marched up to the Republic Square by shouting slogans with Turkish flags and placards. After the march, the activities continued with various programs.
The march was held with the participation of Governor Osman Kaymak, Çiğdem Karaaslan, Vice Chairman and Deputy of Samsun in the Justice and Development Party, Mustafa Demir, Mayor of Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, Prof. Sait Bilgiç, Rector of Ondokuz Mayıs University, Prof. Mahmut Aydın, Rector of Samsun University, Ersan Aksu, Provincial Chairman of the Justice and Development Party, Abdullah Karapıçak, Provincial Chairman of Nationalist Movement Party, Necattin Demirtaş, Mayor of İlkadım, İbrahim Sandılçı, Mayor of Canik, Hasan Togar, Mayor of Tekkeköy, directors of public institutions and many citizens.
In the 3rd year of the resistance of 15 July, the people of Samsun and members of the protocol were on guard duty for democracy in the Republic Square until the first light of the morning.
