OMU Represents Turkey in Romania

Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) has participated in the international IP project themed “Incontinence by People with Obesity” financed by the International TZMO Group and organized for the 5th time. The project was held in Bucharest, Romania between 6 -10 May, 2019.

A total of 30 undergraduate and graduate students, 5 from Austria, Finland, Germany, Poland , Romania, and Turkey, 6 professors, and 6 staff members from the TZMO Group attended the project.

Turkish Representatives are from OMU

Member of OMU Faculty of Health Sciences Prof Dr. İlknur Aydın Avcı joined the event as the Project Coordinator of Turkey, and represented Turkey together with 5 OMU students from undergraduate, masters, and doctorate levels.

Students coming from six different countries discussed various solutions on the evaluation and improvement of the quality of life of people having health problems such as obesity and incontinence, thus bringing a multinational approach to the issues.

OMU representatives also held a meeting with the TZMO Company executives and it has been decided that the project should be continued in 2020.
