OMU Receives Support from TÜBİTAK's New Program

The work of a project team consisting of Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) academics was approved by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) Science and Society Department within the scope of the "Inclusive Society Practices for Individuals with Special Needs" which is launched for the first time in 2022.

"Training of Science Teachers for the Design of Course Materials for Deaf and Heard of Hearing" project, coordinated by Member of OMU Faculty of Education Science Education Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ergun, received support.

The project's general aim is to practically transfer the necessary knowledge, skills, and experiences to science teachers to help them design course materials for deaf and hard-of-hearing students.

Thirteen trainers will participate in the project, which will take place in Samsun on 23 - 27 January 2023.
